I was finally able to flash my Buffalo WHR-G125 with the Tomato firmware, something that wasn't possible for a very long time. Apparently the WHR-G125 was the first model with an upgraded chipset, but the last model to carry proprietary encrypted firmware (all subsequent Buffalo routers shipped with DD-WRT firmware), so it took a while to get this one flashable.

I had to call my ISP and have them clear my MAC address, but it was worth it.

EDIT: In case Google brings someone here, I first installed version 1.14 following these instructions (download is there also), then upgraded to the latest version here (make sure you get the one that says it will work with the WHR-G125). Also, here are instructions for enabling TFTP in Vista.
