once again, i woke up at 7am. even though when i went to bed at 1:30am, i was completely exhausted. in fact, i kept waking up every couple of hours. this getting up early simply does not work for me at all. before anyone says, "eh, suck it up, i get up that early every day," i'd like to point out that i am at work until 1am, and 1:30 am is the ealiest time i can possibly go to bed. usually if i allow myself to sit down at the computer, i am up far later. second, i don't have to be anywhere until 10:40am, and where i have to be in a 7 minute walk away. this means that it is possible, in actual practice, to wake up at 10am, have a shower, get dressed, and leave to get there on time, or even early. but this waking up before 7am, which has happened every day this week, means that i am exhausted by midafternoon. and taking a nap only seems to exacerbate both the immediate tiredness and the problem of waking up too goddamn early.
